Teen Ministries

First Baptist Church offers a wide variety of services and opportunities for teens to worship and serve the Lord. We seek to touch the hearts of our youth by teaching the truth that is the Gospel of Christ so they may begin to experience the hope and blessings that come by choosing a lifestyle that separates them unto Christ.

Today's teens are being continuously bombarded and enticed by the world that surrounds them and many are simply looking for a life line to enable them to keep their heads above the crashing tides. We offer truth and counsel for teens (many of which are hurting) by using the Word of God which brings peace and hope, something that today's music and other enticing influences can not.

We focus on the hearts of our youth, by providing spiritual edification through encouraging activities and scriptures in hopes of developing a solid foundation in Christ which will serve to support them throughout their lives. We also seek to develop a witnessing attitude within our teens that will encourage them to stand bold in the face of adversity, allowing them to hold fast to their faith and proclaim the gospel of Jesus to their friends, classmates and family.
