Ladies Fellowship
Our purpose:
We are an internal fellowship of women that support members of our local church. Our goal is to build friendships across all the age groups of our church body. We each have our own talents and experiences that can edify other women of our church.
Who we are:
- Any woman in the church from College and Career to Senior.
our meeting Format:
- We begin at 6:30 p.m. every first Thursday of the month.
- We enjoy food and fellowship with each other.
- We are fed and nurtured with a monthly devotion, helping us in our walk with the Lord.
- We discuss and plan our upcoming events.
- We enjoy a wonderful Christmas party and gift exchange each December.
What services we provide to the members of the church:
- Meal ministry - We prepare meals for church families when they are faced with serious illness, surgery, childbirth, etc. Ladies plan, prepare, and deliver the meals.
- College students' care package - We collect items for care packages to send to church family members away at college.
- Food baskets for the needy - We identify families in our community who are in need, organize the collection of food items, and deliver them to the families.
- Missionary baskets - We send gift baskets to missionaries' wives at Christmas and when they visit our church with their husbands to describe their work.
- Decorating - We decorate areas of the church for holidays and everyday.
- Support Women's Outreach Ministry - We support this ministry that is designed to reach out to women in our community.
- Organize yearly activities - Each year we host a Ladies Tea, as well as other special events.
