The ladies of First Baptist Church will be hosting a conference February 26-28, 2010 with Mina Oglesby as our special guest. On Friday, February 26, come relax and refresh with your spouse and enjoy a night out with good fellowship and great food. The menu includes Maryland Vegetable Crab Soup, Field Green Salad, Roast Beef Au Jus, Whipped Potatoes and Green Beans and Petite Carrots Almandine, as well as assorted desserts. The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m. Childcare is available. Tickets are $15.00 per couple and will be on sale from January 24 through February 17. They will be available for purchase in the church office on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets must be purchased by February 17 to attend the dinner.
Our Ladies Conference will be held Saturday, February 27. The theme this year is Heart, Hands and Home. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. for registration, coffee and fellowship. We will begin at 9:00 a.m. and Mina will be ministering to us during two sessions in the morning. After lunch, teaching and craft workshops will be offered throughout the church. Tickets are $10.00 per person and the price includes gift bags and lunch. Tickets will go on sale January 24 and can be purchased in the church office on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. They will be available up until the conference date, February 27. Registration forms may also be downloaded from our website and mailed in with a check.
