The Significance of Easter

On Easter we celebrate the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ!  Someone might ask the  question, "What does this event reveal or prove?"

First, Romans 4:25 shows that God accepted Jesus' sacrifice for us on the cross.  Second, because he conquered death, we will too rise from the dead (I Corinthians 15:20).  Third, it proves His deity (Romans 1:4).  The resurrection of Christ is what sets Christianity above all others!  Muhammad, Buddha and Confucius are still dead.  Only Christ conquered death!
